Jim Cowie - The Captains Galley
I photographed Jim Cowie, who runs the acclaimed seafood restaurant at Scrabster 'The Captains Galley' as part of an ongoing series of character shots for Mey Selections. Jim won Seafood Chef Of The Year last year.
Natalie and the Great Gatsby
I recently did a shoot with Natalie and her magnificent new horse The Great Gatsby. Haven't had a chance to edit them all yet, but here's a few previews. The black horse with the red wedding dress worked so well. The setting was pretty special too.
5th April Laura & Mark, Dingwall
Today's wedding was in the Castle Street Church, Dingwall and saw the marriage of Laura Crombie and Mark Calder, both of Drumdyre Road in the town. The reception was at the Spa Pavilion in Strathpeffer. If yesterdays weather was kind, today's was a different story! A real case of 4 seasons in one day. Wind, rain, snow and some very nice sunny spells. At some stages of the day we had all of those at the same time!!
Shoot with Natalie
Had another shoot with Natalie recently which went very well. Make up & hair was by the incredibly talented Luci Paterson-Brown. The corset and skirt was supplied by Ailsa Joy Rendall from Glasgow www.ajrdesigns.co.uk
Thanks to both girls for their hard work and Ailsa for supplying the outfit.
4th April Linda and Kenny, Inverness
Today's wedding was Linda Henderson of Kiltarlity and Kenny Smith of Inverness. The couple got married at Greyfriars Church in Inverness with the reception held at the Lochardil Hotel. It was a long day today, setting off at 7.30am and getting home around midnight, but worth the efforts! The day started with a shoot on Culloden battlefield with the guys which set the day up nicely. The weather was very kind, and we shot almost everything outdoors!

Wedding Fayre - Portland Arms 9th March
Fairly good wedding fayre today, met up with lots of this years clients and prospective ones for next year. The photographer-who-wants-to-be-John-Baikie was there, selling cheap replicas as ever, but I think most people who appreciate photography can tell the difference between genuine and fake.

Black Meringue Magazine
Just picked up the new edition of Black Meringue, the alternative bridal magazine and I have several pictures in the fashion pages from my shoot with Joyce Paton corsets in Queensferry, Edinburgh. Models were Natalie Oag and Daiquiri Dusk, make up by Tracy Kane.
Hector Polson and his bikes
Sunday 2nd March, had an assignment to photograph Hector with some of his vintage motorcycles this morning for Motors North. I did a few safe shots for them, then got them all inside for some playtime shots for me!! Well pleased with the way they turned out.
